3.5mm 4-Pole Male to 1-3.5mm Female Audio and 1-3.5mm Female Microphone. Allows the use of separate source for audio and mic and combines into one output. For use with computers and mobile devices that use 1-3.5mm 4-pole input for audio and microphone.

Some laptops and mobile devices will not work with all external microphones. To ensure proper hardware detection we recommend that the external headset be plugged into the adapter first before the adapter is connected to the computer or mobile device.

This adapter cannot be used to split the audio output to two separate sets of headphones or speakers.
